Description

3 Minute Garlic Butter Wilted Kale, or sautéed kale, is the easiest and most delicious way of getting the highly nutritious green into your diet.

Ingredients

Units Scale

  • 3 cups chopped kale, 200g (or 1 bag)
  • 3 tbsp water
  • 2 tbsp salted butter, or oil + salt for vegan
  • 1 clove garlic, grated

Instructions

  1. To a large saucepan; add water, butter and garlic. On medium high, let the butter melt.
  2. Add in the chopped kale (stems in small pieces are ok). It will look like a lot, but starts to reduce in size once wilted. Stir to coat the kale in melted butter.
  3. Cover and let it steam for 2-3 minutes or until kale is wilted. Stir once more and serve immediately.
